Why did I want to start a blog?
At ZAP we host adult running camps and we have the opportunity to meet people from all over and talk about our favorite topic – running! These campers come from completely different backgrounds in the running world. Some are being introduced to a run/walk program, some are participating in a couch to 5k plan, and some have OTQs (Olympic Trails Qualifiers) and BQs (Boston Qualifiers). I am well into my third year at ZAP and this my third camp season, I realized that every runner has the same goal. We all want to be the absolute best runner we can be.
What is the goal of this blog?
The goal of this blog is to connect the everyday runner to the professional running world.
What kind of content does this blog feature?
My main focus will be on how to incorporate running into everyday life. I’ll be sharing experiences from my 13 years of running and life at ZAP. I will also focus on skincare, “fashion” (how to dress comfy but cute), and haircare for runners. I’ll give reviews of my favorite places to run, fueling spots, and recipes I’ve tried. I will also be featuring interviews with various people.
Suggestions? Know someone who would be perfect to interview?
I am always up for suggestions. If you have any topics you would like me to cover please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
